How winners are picked
Open to families in Redmond and Central Oregon. One entry per child. Entries close October 20, 2026 at 5:00 PM. Three winners get picked, one per age group (3-5, 6-9, 10-13), judged on creativity and effort, not a random drawing. No purchase necessary to enter or win.
Each age-group winner gets a $25 gift card to Herringbone Books. Winners are contacted directly by phone or text the week of October 20-24. A winner's first name and photo are shared publicly only with a parent's okay, confirmed directly before anything posts.
Why I'm doing this
This one has nothing to do with buying or selling a house. It's a small thing for Redmond families before trick-or-treating starts, and an easy 20 minutes with your kid and a box of crayons.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to buy anything to enter?
No. Entry is free, download the page, color it, and text us a photo before the deadline.
What if my child doesn't win?
Every entry gets a thank-you from us either way, this is just a fun seasonal activity, not a sales pitch.
Will you post my child's photo without asking?
No. A winner's name and photo are only shared publicly with a parent's direct okay, confirmed again before anything is posted.
