Powell Butte, Oregon Real Estate

Panoramic Cascade views and orchard land since before the turn of the century.

Orchard land with a view of two mountain ranges

Powell Butte is unincorporated Crook County, named for the Powell family, pioneers who crossed the Cascades with cattle in the 1800s. Its post office dates to 1909, and the community has long called itself the "Home of Good Crops, Good Stock, and Good Neighbors," with orchards planted here before 1900 and a dairy that ran for decades starting in 1908. The butte itself gives unobstructed views of the Cascade Range to the west and the Ochoco Mountains to the east.

It's one of the places my land and acreage buyers ask about most, people trading a crowded lot in Redmond for space, quiet, and land of their own.

How I help in Powell Butte

For buyers, that means real rural due diligence: wells, septic, property lines, and what a parcel can actually support, covered on how I help you buy a home. For sellers of land or rural property here, the marketing has to reach buyers specifically searching for acreage, detailed on land and acreage.
